Chad-Cameroon Petroleum Development and Oil Pipeline
Project
The
Forest Peoples Programme is tracking this World Bank project and aims to
provide support to the affected Bagyéli indigenous people in Cameroon through:
(i) continued lobbying of project managers to adhere
to the World Bank’s social and environmental safeguard policies, particularly
the
Indigenous Peoples policy (OD 4.20), and
(ii) capacity-building projects in Bagyéli villages.
