Los manifestantes, quienes le reclaman al gobierno una indemnización justa por las inundaciones que sufrieron sus tierras hace 30 años como resultado de la construccion de la represa Bayano, estan detenidos. Hasta ahora las autoridades no les han permitido hablar con sus abogados

Call for international solidarity: police force and authorities in Panama have repressed peaceful protests by Kuna leaders and community members in Madungandi.
More than 90 Kuna protesters, who were demonstrating to once again call for fair compensation for damages suffered for more than 30 years due to flooding of their lands by the Bayano Dam, are being held in jail and have so far been refused the right to speak to their lawyers
