Mapping Shared Territories in the Republic of Congo
In the heart of the Republic of Congo, a unique and transformative project is underway. Baka and Bakwele communities are mapping their shared territory and building their capacity to advocate for their rights. Participatory mapping initiatives not only strengthen communities' land claims but also address the root causes of attacks and reduce their vulnerability. This work aims to foster equitable governance in a region where land rights and cultural preservation are at stake.
