A group of Colombian indigenous women have prepared a shadow report that they will present to the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) during its 56th session, currently underway in Geneva.

The report, titled A Look at the Human Rights of Indigenous Women in Colombia, emphasises the deep and multi-layered forms of discrimination that indigenous women in Colombia experience and puts forward specific recommendations that the CEDAW Committee could make to the Colombian state in order to improve this situation.
