The Congolese Foresters Network

The Congolese Foresters Network (Réseau Congolais des Forestiers) was founded in 2007 by General Coordinator Mr. Elikia Amani, with a group of concerned individuals from diverse professions who shared in the mission of conservation and sustainable management of natural resources at a local level.

The mission of the Congolese Foresters Network is to support community development and independent monitoring of violations of forestry management, environmental crimes and human rights by taking actions to counter climate change, promote the well-being of the population, support community forestry, strengthen the capacity of civil society and local communities, and manage natural resources for sustainability.
