The Dayakology Institute or ID (originally called the Institute of Dayakology Research and Development - IDRD) is a non-governmental organization that carries out efforts to revitalize and restitute Dayak cultural identity. ID was established as a response to the Dayak Indigenous Peoples to various problems and challenges resulting from development and other factors that destroyed the foundations of Dayak Culture and the rights of Indigenous Peoples to land and natural resources. The cultural sector is ID's main concern because it is directly related to the identity and identity of the Dayak people. In its history, concern about the social, cultural, economic, educational and political conditions of the Dayak Indigenous People in West Kalimantan prompted a group of young people who thought critically to establish an institution that specifically studied Dayak culture.
