In early 2023, the board of the Stichting took the decision to dissolve the Stichting at the end of its existing project work, with the intention that thematic work carried out by the Stichting (largely connected to the EU) would subsequently be carried out by FPP UK. 

During the course of 2023, therefore, the Stichting’s work focussed on the completion of its remaining project, funded by the European Climate Fund, focussed on EU advocacy. The project came to an end at the end of October 2023.

After the end of December 2023, there will be no further activities carried out by Stichting FPP NL while it is in its final liquidation phase. The Stichting Forest Peoples Programme has now been fully disbanded on the 30th of April 2024.
