RSPO fail to secure justice for community in Peru
In December 2015, the indigenous organisation FECONAU filed the first ever complaint to the RSPO about a Peruvian member. The complaint concerned the destruction of forests and the violation of the rights of the community of Santa Clara de Uchunya.
On the eve of the RSPO’s annual roundtable conference in Bali (RT15), the indigenous organisation FECONAU has issued a statement about the failure of the RSPO process to secure justice for the community of Santa Clara.
