Open Letter to the Attorney General of Kenya Calling for him to Halt the Evictions of the Ogiek Community from the Mau Forest Complex

This open letter calls upon the Kenyan Government to halt the ongoing evictions of the Ogiek community in the Mau Forest by the Kenyan Forest Service (KFS) and the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS).
The open letter was sent to the Kenyan Government by Community Land Action Now (CLAN). CLAN is composed of pastoralists, hunter-gatherers (mainly forest peoples), and settled communities whose lands include forests, rangelands, and other commons, existing across 27 counties in the Republic of Kenya.
