Indigenous Peoples’ Foundation for Education and Environment (IPF)
The Indigenous Peoples’ Foundation for Education and Environment (IPF) is an indigenous peoples’ organisation founded on in 2005 in Thailand by indigenous leaders with support from local academia. Its main aim is to build capacity of indigenous peoples and to promote full and effective participation of indigenous peoples in a wide range of international policy processes relevant to them. These included, but were not limited to, policy on forest and biodiversity conservation and management, indigenous peoples’ education, and policy on climate change mitigation and adaptation measures.
