Consejo Étnico de los Pueblos Kichwa de la Amazonia (CEPKA)

The Consejo Étnico de los Pueblos Kichwa de la Amazonia (CEPKA) operates under the stewardship of a regional council, spread across five decentralised provinces of: El Dorado, San Martin, Picota, Bellavista, and Lamas. The organisation consists of 79 native communities , one Campesino community, and multiple territorial organisations that champion the cause of the Original Peoples.

CEPKA is a contemporary organisation that defends its identity, acknowledges its opportunities and strengths, while actively addressing its vulnerabilities and challenges. Through this CEPKA aims to strengthen its democratic foundation and position itself as an active subject of change. The organisation stands as a testimony of change they want to see in Peru and the world.
