Open Letter to raise concern over attacks and criminalisation of Indigenous leaders and activists in Russia

On January 28, 2022, the Batani Foundation sent an open letter to the Russian federation, raising concerns over the recent attacks and criminalisation against Indigenous leaders and activists in Russia.

Now, 121 global organisations (including FPP) and 66 individuals have signed the letter in solidarity. The letter details specific cases of activists and defenders who have been detained without cause or harrassed by the Russian authorities.
