From exclusion to ownership? Challenges and opportunities in advancing forest tenure reform
Governments have begun to reduce their legal ownership and control of the world's forests, but with mixed progress and impacts on the wellbeing of forest peoples, on the management and conservation of forests, and on a suite of global forest-related issues - including climate change. This research analyses this and makes recommendations to progress forest tenure reform.
