IFAD approves new policy on engagement with indigenous peoples
The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), one of the specialised agencies of the United Nations, has released its new policy on working with indigenous peoples. The policy respects and upholds the principle of free, prior and informed consent for indigenous peoples.
