Coordinadora de Desarrollo y Defensa de los Pueblos Indígenas de la región San Martín (CODEPISAM)

Coordinator for the Development and Defence of Indigenous Peoples in the San Martin Region (CODEPISAM) is the base organization of AIDESEP in the San Martín region, representing 128 native communities and 8 federations of three peoples, Kichwa, Awajun and Shawi.

As an organization, it seeks to work under its own indigenous agenda that considers initiatives for local development, capacity building, advocacy for development and territorial management. The organization represents, defends, promotes and disseminates development with economic, social, political and cultural identity of indigenous peoples.
